Diagnosis and Management of Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be challenging to diagnose, with no single test or examination for it. Although it is a condition that is often characterized by widespread pain and tenderness, symptoms can be varied and fluctuate. Fatigue as well as memory and mood disturbance are common, which can impact quality of life in a significant way. In this upcoming live event, Rheumatologist Dr Ilana Ginges and Exercise Physiologist Sarah will discuss both the diagnosis and management of Fibromyalgia.
During our live online event Ilana and Sarah will aim to cover:
- How is Fibromyalgia diagnosed? A Rheumatologist’s Perspective
- Understanding the symptoms of Fibromyalgia
- Understanding the role of the Central Nervous System (CNS)
- Managing and Treating Fibromyalgia with a Holistic Approach
- Movement
- Fatigue Management
- Nutrition
- Psychology
Attend our live and free virtual event on 8pm Wednesday 24th May.
Like all of our live events, we will welcome questions and discussion so we can all hear and learn from each other.
